Uganda Rural Fund (URF)
is a grassroots community organization striving to empower AIDS orphans, underprivileged youths and women to fight poverty in rural communities, through educational and sustainable development opportunities, one village at a time. We take volunteers all year round and they help on various projects: the orphanage, secondary and vocational school, after school program, child-headed family outreach, youth leadership camps, community library and computer center, women empowerment, AIDS and health care outreach, business training, and food security.
