Volunteer / Work in Jesus is Alive Foundation (JIAF)
JIAF is a Community Development Foundation located in Volta Region; 80 KM from Accra, the capital city of Ghana.
The region is blessed with beautiful mountains, the Volta River, Lake, and a nice climate.
The aim of the foundation is to promote, education, sustainable economy, fight for the conservation and proper use of natural resources in the region.
The foundation is currently running children home, a school, a vocational institute and an organic farming.
Program highlight:
-provide free education to the community children.
-Provide basic necessity for orphans (education, housing, clothing, food etc.)
-create job opportunities.
-Organic farming.
-art craft production.
-create Community Cooperatives
-fight to stop child labour.
Get involved
The foundation is struggling hard to achieve its goals: build a better community; by implementing the above programs. Anyone with the desire to help is welcome. There are plenty of work opportunities: in education, health, farming, etc.
